The course include Woven, print design, embroidery and surface embellishment which are the core textile subjects and together impart an extensive and versatile training for the students.

         It emphasizes on building a variety of skills, along with practical applications. The curriculum offers opportunity to students to create, experiment and innovate with materials.

        Alongside there is also emphasis on learning specialized software in order to explore digital and non-traditional approach to design, fabric structures and surfaces.

        Students are encouraged to take up complex design projects enabling them to apply their creative abilities. It also provides exposure to art, craft and industrial production.

• Textile designers are trained in fabric printing, dyeing, embroidery and design development.
• They work as design developers, color specialists, hand painters and printing supervisors.
• With the knowledge of the history of textile fibers, and expertise in various methods of how textile looms operate they know how yarns of different types can be blended.
• The course also makes one eligible for a career with the star employers and leading garment designers and apparel manufacturers.
• After completion of this course, the candidates can also upgrade their knowledge about this course by doing their higher study by doing their masters and bachelors in textile designing.
