In Jewellery Design students are imparted knowledge of Jewellery design and manufacturing various Jewellery products. Study in this field teaches students basic skills like stone cutting, electroplating, metal coloring, enameling, stone setting, engraving, polishing and testing the quality of precious gems and metals. Depending on the course, students can also learn business aspects of the field. Learning about making jewelry goes beyond unleashing creativity. Jewellery design candidates are expected to design and make eye-catching jewelry pieces that are in tune with the market trend
