• Undergraduate programs

 UID offers professional bachelor courses in fields including Fashion Design, Product Design, Lifestyle and Accessory Design, Visual Communication, Interior Design, Animation & Motion Graphics, Game Design & Game Art and Automobile & Transportation Design. Its undergraduate bachelor program offers students full-time four-year courses.

• Post graduate programs

UID offers post graduate courses in product design, visual communication, furniture and interior design and apparel and textile design. It offers students full-time two-year courses.

• Exam paper pattern

UID Design Aptitude Test for MDesign and BDesign admissions is conducted in the month of February. Total marks which aspirants can secure in UID Design Aptitude Test is 100. The duration of UID entrance exam is two and a half hours.

UID Entrance Exam comprises of a written test, candidates who are shortlisted in this admission round then have to appear for a Creative Situation Test as well as Personal Interview and Portfolio Round. Candidates who perform well in all these rounds are then selected for admission in design courses offered at UID.

UID Admission process requires aspirants to clear UID Aptitude Test. Candidates who clear this written test then need to appear for two more rounds which are:

Round 1 (Situation Test): Students are given situations on the basis of which they have to make models. They are also given some questions in which they have to sketch and answer.

Round 2 (Professional Interview): In this admission round, candidates need to appear for personal interviews wherein they need to carry their portfolios.
